Example Itinerary for a 3-day trip. Activities will vary depending on the length of your booking.
The Start of the Journey
After we meet at 8:45 AM at Söderarmsvägen 26 in Stockholm, it's time to hit the road. Once we arrive, we hit the ground running with map and compass navigation to our base camp. You'll learn bits about wildlife tracking, plants, and mushrooms along the way. Once we arrive at camp, we will learn and extensively practice the art of fire building and cook dinner over the campfire.

Settling in at Base Camp
Day 2 is all about learning the essential skills of shelter building and fishing. Awakened by the calls of birdlife, you’ll start the day by lighting a fire to boil water and enjoying a well-earned cup of coffee. From there, you’ll dive into constructing an emergency shelter to protect yourself from the elements and familiarizing yourself with the realities of wild food through fishing and foraging—a rewarding day of practical survival and connection with nature.

Our Final Day in the Wild
After the previous 2 days of instruction in nature, you will now have more time to put your new skills to use. We will once again start the day by boiling water after you start a fire and gather wood. There will be time for more foraging wild edibles, fishing, practicing starting fires, and learning more about different ways to use the plants that surround you. Around noon, we will take a closer look at the skill of packing a backpack for a multi-day trip, and then you will navigate us back to the car.

My 3-day survival course in the Swedish woods was both challenging and fun. Under Lucas’s experienced guidance, I quickly picked up previously foreign skills like foraging, compass navigation, fire-making, and shelter building. His instructions were clear and easy to follow… and he even speaks Portuguese! I expected to be hungry and cold, but Lucas ensured we had plenty of food. Exploring the woods, identifying edible plants, and cooking a campfire meal after catching a pike and perch were highlights of the trip. Overall, it was a memorable experience that pushed me out of my comfort zone… perfect for anyone looking to build outdoor confidence and learn new skills.

The 3-day survival course in Sörmland was a challenging but rewarding experience where I learned essential survival skills. Lucas, the instructor, is incredibly knowledgeable and made the course accessible, even for beginners. I gained confidence in skills like shelter building, fire-starting, and navigation, thanks to personalized guidance… Lucas showed his dedication by sleeping in the shelter we built in 3°C October weather. The equipment was excellent, and while most meals were basic, the vegetable stew, pike, mushrooms, and berries made it very enjoyable. The course was well-structured but physically demanding… navigating off-trail through rocky forest was tiring. Lucas even flushed debris from my eye after I walked into a branch! If you’re adventurous and up for a challenge, I highly recommend it!
